Fortune Zipper Ltd started its journey in 1994 as a joint venture unit. In 1998 the company was fully taken over by the current Chairman Dr. Mokbul Ahmed Khan and the company started its new journey. A new management team took over the company. The company was expanded to produce all types of zippers and full range of its components slider & puller Moulding unit Zipper Tape section , Painting section, Electro plating section, and so on. The company can produce over 1,00000 Pcs of various types of zipper per day. The company aims to become number one zipper manufacturing company in Bangladesh. Besides producing zipper, the company diversifies its business in other sectors also, such as, developing other garment accessories, Software business and education services. Fortune developed its two new units as Fortune Thread Industries and Elegance Elastic Industries in its own premise and all the companies comes under the name of Fortune Group. Our Group also established a software company namely Fortune Computer Services Ltd where we provide high quality information technology solution to meet clients specific business challenges. The company will soon start its garments factory which will be named as Fortune Denims Ltd. The group is also involved in education sector and have established one university named as European University of Bangladesh  .
